I rejoined Tour 6 in Denver midday this day. \u00a0We made a short jaunt up to southeastern WY to watch some strong convection behind the mountains well west of I-25. \u00a0A tornado occurred near Elk Mountain, which is northwest of Laramie. \u00a0We were along I-25 and did not see it.<\/p>\n

Eventually a decent storm developed west of Wheatland and spun a bit, with some structure and a wall cloud. \u00a0It drifted southeast and sputtered.<\/p>\n

There was additional development farther to our northwest, beyond Douglas. \u00a0We took a look at that for a while, but it was very junky. \u00a0Our beds for the night were in Guernsey.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the day, on the flight from L.A. to Denver, I got a shot of the solar complex near Primm, on the CA\/NV border south of Las Vegas.<\/p>\n
