May 8, 2007 Big Bend NP, TX

We blasted south towards the earth’s equator, all the way to the banks of the Rio Grande south of Marathon. Pretty storms and scenery were the order of the day. I have made liberal use of the image software’s contrast and saturation controls on the first three photos below to make the natural world appear more spectacular than it is in reality.
