Our only hope for strong convective exhibitions on this day was in western New Mexico. Some so-so cells went up north of Silver City, NM, and we observed patiently like good little chasers. The scenery was nice, the storms a little less so. A cell with some infrequent lightning kept our interest between Reserve and Old Horse Springs. Brian’s camera caught a nice CG and mine did not. This is not acceptable.
