May 29, 2007 Simla, CO HP supercell

May 29, 2007 By Bill Leave a Comment

Following a healthy and enjoyable meal in downtown Wray, we sauntered south and west to Limon for some strengthening cells moving off of the Palmer Divide near I-25. We watched a nasty HP cell approach Simla, and then had to mosey east to Limon to avoid the core. Our quick pit stop in Limon was somewhat ill-advised, as hail moved in fast and caught us with our pants down.
