I had about ten days free prior to the next tour, so Brian Morganti and I teamed up for several days. We headed to the Dakotas from York, NE, on June 11. Right on cue, a strong cell developed right in our forecast area around Faith, SD, as we approached from the east. We dropped south of Faith a tad, and then hurriedly dashed east of Faith as this HP supercell came to be just south of the small town. The cell looked quite nasty for an hour or two as it drifted east, but it never appeared to be in the mood for tornado-making.
