Happy March! The time for storm chasing nears—I will be headed to the Plains for the chase season with Tempest Tours in about six weeks. Meanwhile, I have been very busy at my regular jobs, without much time to work on the web site, unfortunately. Here is the latest on the status of Stormbruiser:
My webmaster, Elke, switched my blog software from Moveable Type to WordPress back in January, and we changed servers, too. Most of that which disappeared around the first of the year has been resurrected. Regarding the “chase accounts” section, I have pretty much finished posting all of the (post-worthy) images from 2006 and 2007.
The “galleries” section remains empty, but that is my next project. I need to begin scanning the really good slides of yore and uploading those to the Gallery. With any luck, you will start to see some new images there before I head for the Plains in late April.
In the chase accounts section, there is a link to register to Stormbruiser so that you can comment on the entries and images on the blog. I have not enabled this option yet, so it is still impossible for visitors to post comments directly. I’m not sure when or if “comments” will be permitted….but if you want to say something about the site, or would like to praise or comment on a particular image, and want me to include your comments online, you may e-mail me at
bill@stormbruiser.com
I guess that’s it for now. Bruiser says: “Eat more dog food.”
