Good day,
Weeding through, preparing, and uploading my images from the spring chase season has been a bit slower than I had hoped. June 2008 is completed (except for the slide images), and I have just started to get into the May chases. Oh well. To see my accounts and images from the 2008 chase season, go to the April 2008, May 2008, and June 2008 (archives) links, and then click on the individual entries. You’ll be glad you did.
There were a couple of surprise days locally in August, as I captured some nice lightning bolts from LAX and chased a little brushfire in Agoura, just four miles away from my residence. I have made no special chase trips since getting back from the Plains around July 1. If things work out, I may do a hurricane chase in September, but it will not be Gustav.
Relatively near-future Stormbruiser web site work will include the completion of the May 2008 chases, and then the main “gallery” work (finally), where my best photos from the beginning will be on display. (Or should I produce a 2007-2008 chase video first??) The “links” and “climatology” sections will continue to be empty for a while. Don’t bother trying to “register” for the blog —- it is disabled! Of course you can always e-mail me at
bill@stormbruiser.com
with all of your questions and comments. If you chased with Tempest Tours and have a great photo to share from your tour, then please feel free to e-mail it to me and I can post it on the Bruiser. And I’ll take all of the credit. Just kidding.
Have a pleasant September!
