July 5, 2009 Rainbows and Reflections on the Caprock

This was “return the big white van to Arlington” day.  I elected to head south on I-25 out of Denver, as storms were expected on the high terrain of northeast New Mexico and the western TX Panhandle by late afternoon.  The storms were not especially strong, but, as usual, they were quite photogenic on their back sides around sunset time.  The street scene is Clayton, NM, and the remaining images were taken south of Stratford, TX.
