My first chase tour of the season began on April 30 out of OKC. Cold air was flooding the Plains from the north, so we had to kill some time with some sight-seeing and landscape photography. On our first full day, we began in Dodge City, visited Monument Rocks (north of Scott City, KS), and explored an abandoned house near the KS/NE border north of Goodland. Our day ended in Ogallala.
