Severe weather was likely again today on the Central and Southern High Plains. We began in Borger and headed to Guymon for lunch. I was looking at the western OK Panhandle and vicinity for the best storms. Unfortunately, convection began quite early in the afternoon and we wound up with a bit of a disappointing and messy day. We managed to see an HP-ish cell north of Dalhart, a nice severe storm west of Dalhart (near the TX/NM border to the east of Sedan, NM), and a lightning display northwest of Dalhart, near Perico. Here are the best images of the day.
