Following my little morning supercell chase from Beatty to Lida Junction, I made my way into Death Valley to check out the “superbloom.” The flowers were spectacular, reportedly — the best since 2005. I had photographed that one, so I was interested in seeing if the current display was just as good. It was indeed! The best displays were generally from Badwater southward to Jubilee Pass.
