A desert day trip turned sour when the Xterra died just east of Ballarat, in Panamint Valley.  That story is here.

There were some pretty lenticulars between Randsburg and Trona, and some abandoned buildings to check out at Cantil.   In Randsburg I found the official cooperative weather station (that radiation shield on the post).   The last nine images were from Pleasant Canyon, east of Ballarat in the Panamint Range.
