This entry is a brief recap of the whereabouts of the Tempest chase group while I was back home from Friday to Monday.
June 16/TT chased severe storms near York, Nebraska
June 17/TT intercepted an impressive supercell with plenty of CGs near Pratt and Haviland, KS; TD Chris Gullikson blew off what appeared to be a decent target area near Junction City late in the afternoon to get the group to the Pratt-area storm.
June 18/TT observed generally high-based storms in the vicinity of Raton and Cimarron, NM
June 19/TT heads back north into Colorado, and I replace Chris as TD in Calhan. This is a day with no chance of storms, and we headed to Burlington, Colorado, for the night.
