January 30, 2018 Enjoy Your Island Fowl

San Nicolas Island is not exactly a bird paradise, but if you look hard enough, you can find some.  I have seen an owl, some chukar partridges, and ducks.  There are a bunch of smaller birds, and I have no idea what kind they are.

This entry shares some images taken around the island’s sewer ponds, just east of Nicktown.  The ducks like to float on the water, and they like to quack.
