This was another day on the road to photograph pretty desert scenery, with spring flowers! Many desert areas of Southern California experienced a “superbloom” this spring. The first stop was the Coachella Preserve, featuring a grove of palms and a small lake. Not bad for one of the driest parts of the country!
Next up was Joshua Tree National Monument. A great area of wildflowers was near the southern entrance. We also stopped at the Cholla Cactus area and Keys Viewpoint.
