Chase account by TT guest L. Ryan

We had a nice slight risk of severe today over much of eastern NM.  I chose to play the area around Clayton to the western Oklahoma Panhandle.  This was convenient, since we were starting in Clayton.  We killed some time at a museum in town and had lunch at the Rabbit Ear Cafe.  We found an abandoned house near Moses (or was it Old Moses?), and watched some weak stuff bubble to our northwest.

My usually copious notes for this day aren’t very copious, but it appears that we watched some high-based storms between Moses and Campo.  These sent off some left splits.  There was more messy stuff around Boise City, and we capped off the day with a pretty sunset near Dalhart.
