How about another upslope chase day near the Cheyenne Ridge? The tornado prospects weren’t very good, but SPC had a little 2 percent circle near Cheyenne. My notes say that we were up near Lusk again for some cells, but then we abandoned that area for newer development way down south near Cheyenne. We managed to get in front of a southeastward-moving (deviant-mover) supercell south of Cheyenne near the border. This storm had a nice look or two near Carr, Colorado.
The Carr storm, and another new one nearby, continued southeastward and were high-based and ho-hum. Back north we went for a strong-to-severe storm which was making its way southward from around Wheatland to Chugwater. Maybe we should have stuck around up north (near Lusk) for this one. Anyway, we found a neat high point not too far WNW of Chugwater to watch this linear thing move through.
