October 13 and 14, 2020 Owens Valley smoke layers

October 11, 2020 By William Reid Leave a Comment

A trip up into western Nevada took me through the Owens Valley, coming and going.   The Milky Way shot was from the Bishop area on the 12th.  A large fire west of Mammoth continued, with plenty of smoke in the Bishop area on the morning of the 13th.

Smoke persisted along the Sierra Nevada on the 14th.  The images below were taken not too far from Camp Independence.
