This day was all about the strong Santa Ana wind event through my area and vicinity. Hilltops were getting gusts of 60-70 mph. I elected to venture out mid-afternoon, and I wound up at the beach. It was a perfect 70 degrees, sunny, and windy! I found some surfers along a small “point” near the west end of Malibu, where the waves were a little better than elsewhere. The light was great, and the strong offshore wind blowing spray off of the top of the waves was really great! Here are a bunch of stills during that fun 40 minutes of shooting.
