Skies were clear and visibility was good on this flight from Point Mugu to San Nicolas Island. I had my 70-200mm lens ready to go! I sat on the right side of the plane, so was able to see the Channel Islands to the west (Anacapa, Santa Cruz, and even Santa Rosa) and then the north side of San Nicolas Island as we descended. There is even one shot here of Santa Barbara Island, shot through the glass on the other side of the plane.
