Shear and moisture were slowly getting better on the High Plains. The setup for supercells was good again, but moisture (dews under 60F) was still a bit too meager for much of a tornado chance. We had a front-row seat to a high-based rotating updraft between Grady and Farwell in east-central New Mexico.
This one struggled some as it entered Texas. We tried our luck farther east, near Plainview, but that activity was rather messy.
