February 2, 2024 San Nicolas Island Strolls

Some photos from San Nicolas Island in early February, 2024, following a wet January. We will start with images from the plane on the flight out, on Jan 31. The long and narrow island is Anacapa, and the one with the runway is San Nicolas Island.

Below are looks at the recently damaged baseball field backstop at Nicktown, Celery Canyon, the sewage ponds, the bowling alley, and other areas near Nicktown. The bird is a chukar. These are common on the island.
