The southern Nebraska Panhandle along I-80 was the hot spot today.\u00a0 A strong updraft or two developed in the vicinity of Kimball, and moved east.\u00a0 Strangely, it appeared that left-splits and anti-cyclonic rotation were favored.\u00a0 Cells would look good briefly, die rapidly, and then another one would quickly pop up.\u00a0 As sunset approached we were a little east of Sidney, with nice LP cells to our south and east.\u00a0 Both of these croaked, and we dashed back west to Potter for the next one right at sunset.<\/p>\n
