Park<\/st1:placetype><\/st1:place> in light rain on the 16<sup>th<\/sup> and photographed the purple cactus.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Our rooms were in Terlingua, chili capital of the world, on the west side of the park.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>278 miles.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>On the following day we were in sight-seeing mode along the <st1:city><st1:place>Rio Grande<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> from Lajitas and halfway to Presidio, and then at the Sotol overlook at sunset.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Dinner both days was at the fine Starlight Theatre in Terlingua.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>147 miles.<\/p>\n<p
