Moisture remained in short supply over most of the Plains on the 14th and the 15th. \u00a0The 14th<\/a> was a down day for us as we moseyed over to northwest Kansas from Wichita.<\/p>\n

The best risk for severe today, the 15th, was up in North Dakota. \u00a0I felt that the long drive way up there was not warranted, as moisture was meager (dew points only into the low 50s) and tornado potential was very low. \u00a0We staked out the area around the KS\/NE\/CO triple-point, and wound up on a high-based storm which was unable to become well organized. \u00a0No surprise. \u00a0We did get some pretty sunset shots and some dust-filled outflow winds.<\/p>\n
