Weak storms developed west of Sundance, WY and barely kept us from falling asleep. After getting our rooms around 10 p.m. in Belle Fourche, a very electrical storm approached the town from the west. The CG activity was excellent, and I was missing a great photo op! Brian, Chris and I quickly gathered our cameras and drove to a nearby hilltop. The lightning activity was still frequent, but not nearly as close by the time we set up. The lightning shots are looking south and southeast over the town.<\/p>\n
