And, yes, we chased all of the way east into southern Indiana in order to see supercells on the final day of Tour 2 in 2006.  Several cells formed in southeast IL and moved east through extreme southwest IN.  We were on one with an impressive lowering along I-64 near Dale, IN.  A tornado appeared imminent for a while, but it didn&#8217;t happen for us.  A little farther south, the Santa Claus area was subject to hail nearly baseball-size.
