June 28, 2006 The Middle of Nebraska

 We were not expecting much in the way of storms, nor were we expecting storms.  And, the only thing that we saw that was in the way of storms, had their been any storms, was air, land, and man-made objects.   This abandoned place was near Callaway in Custer County, NE.  In the first photo below, Chuck scampers towards the underground tornado shelter to save himself from impending doom.
